A lot has happened in our life...moving into OUR FIRST HOUSE, Caleb's first birthday, sister's weekend to celebrate mom's 50th BIRTHDAY, camping at Starved Rock...so so much. Lots of pictures to share. Enjoy. :)
Our old place. I must admit, strange as it may sound, that I loved this house. Sure, it had silver-fish that plotted to sabatosh my sleep every night and mice...yes gross, little mice that loved to live in my silverware drawer. But this house (named the brown terd by our landlords) was the home we brought Caleb to when he came home from the hosptial. It was blocks from the River Walk, which was my favorite place to run and take my boys for a walk. It was in a beautiful neighborhood. And full of good memories!
the first night in our new home we drank cranberry martinellies and toasted the well-being of our new home! Yay for being new homeowners! We LOVE our new home.
playing on our new swingset in our backyard
for Mark, the swingset is the greatest assett of our new home. I must say that having a fenced in yard where Mark can go out and spend hours playing and running outside has changed my life. :)
Birthday Boy--
Happy 1st Birthday Caleb! He turned one on March 23rd
he LOVED eathing his cake. We gave him an entire cupcake and he ate it ALL and loved it.
we invited a few of Mark's friends who also have siblings Caleb's age to celebrate Caleb's birthday.
Caleb LOVES basketballs. Or really all balls.
we celebrated Caleb's birthday with our grandparents Grandma Grace and Grandpa Jim

Yay, a new blog post! Mark and Caleb are so adorable together. And what a cute new home! We look forward to seeing you guys in August!
Yay for you updating your blog!! And yay for you taking pictures! Wish I was better at it. Those pedicures look heavenly - seriously. Oh and how cute is that pic of Mark and Cade staring at each other at Starved Rock? So cute - love it!
My oh my! Can't believe Caleb is already one! Congrats on the new house. Isn't it great having a back yard? Ours isn't that fabulous, but it's ours, and the kids can roam free!
