our story

i love reminiscing! remembering. valuing. i know we shouldn't live in the past, but i love seeing where we started and how it lead to where we are today. this is the theme of my blog. a sort of "my story" to commemorate and celebrate year 2009. there were so many mile stones. some many wonderful changes. and so many blessings. i think about who i am now and i see so much growth from last year. here are some of my favorite pictures from last year that really capture the essence of our story. i must add that i got this idea from my teacher and mentor, kamee nuzman, whose artistic abilities and passion continue to inspire me. kamee, who is an amazingly talented photographer, believes that everyone has a story and her goal in taking pictures is to capture it. i believe this too. 2009 was a wonderful year and i know 2010 will equal it.

i love that 2009 began with...

a miracle

mark franklin anderson, born january 6th, 2009

continued through chores and laundry, my least favorite of all household chores. yet, seeing this picture...maybe it isn't so bad!

happiness

our story sometimes is a little crazy

mark's first experience biking chicago

one that at times can have a little of the unexpected

it's a story of hard work...and good byes
dave's store, wirelesscity. now he no longer spends all his time there and instead is focusing on the challenges of corporate america! he is so talented and has so many goals. i'm so proud of him and the accomplishments he's had.

the year was full of confronting obstacles

and over coming them

of setting goals...run a marathon
and achieving them!!!
october 17th, 2009 the indianapolis marathon

a year that was filled with laughter

and lots of love

beauty, wonder, and...

of course...family

it's crazy to think how many things and life changes squeezed into a short 365 days! i can't believe that's it's already 2010! happy new year (belated) may it be bright and hopeful.

I love your story. How about printing it into a Photo Book? Remind me next time to talk about how great those pics are. Esp the ones that are b&w and color at the same time.
