i love that shakespeare quote. i'm a shakespeare junkie--he's such a genius, really. and i thought of him and this quote on saturday when we moved from one house to another. it's so poetic and describes my feelings so well and so eloquently. partings are sweetly sorrowful. it's tough making a change, no matter how good the change will be. hence, my move. it's great to go into a bigger house but it's still hard to say good-bye to such a wonderful place. i've just realized that as i grow up i get more sentimental. weird. i can't explain it. i just care more about things that have played significant roles in my life. and 2563 arcadia circle in naperville was more than a house to me, it was a home.
so much happened here. it is the longest place we've lived in since we were married (almost 3 full years). i commuted to my first job from that house. dave and i built his business in that house. we brought our first son home from the hospital to that house. had parties, built memories. i loved it. it was small, but so good to us. farewell dear home. may you find love with the next owners.
here is our new place. it's HUGE. 4 bedrooms. 2 car garage. a basement. mark's favorite thing: a fan in EVERY bedroom.
the greatest thing about this house is that it represents a new beginning, a new change in our life, and an exciting adventure.

not to mention arcadia was where you met US! Guess we'll just have to have more Anderson parties at the new place :) I'm excited for this new part of your life, you guys! hooray!
Congrats you guys! Your new home looks really nice. We're leaving our home and moving into an apartment here soon...not quite as nice :)
